I think I'd like to see people not assume things about others based on what they can see. A lot of times if someone is limping severely one might assume disability or if nothing appears wrong they assume the person doesn't have anything wrong with them. In reality, that isn't always accurate. Someone limping could have just injured themselves and aren't necessarily disabled. In my case, a lot of people assume I am fine because POTS isn't always noticeable until I've hit the floor and then people think something is really wrong and freak out. For me it is normal. So just not judging a person by what you see in one moment of that person's entire life.
My wish is all barriers would be removed when it comes to disabilities, particularly within the medical system.
@AffyAvo, I feel this so much! There shouldn't be as many barriers, if any, as there is for people to get the treatment and support they need.
