Several diagnosis

FastidiumOnus May 31st, 2023

Ifni were to list them all it would take too long. I have lupus, some related autoimmune disease. Spinal issues including stinosis. There are new narrowings closer to the brain stem that are causing falls, trouble swolowing, many neurological problems. POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia Syndrome) so I'm on 2 liters of IV fluid and have a feeding tube as well. There is so much more. I have PTSD from abuse, major depressive disorder and social anxiety.

I'm at a loss with how to live like this. I am trying to help others to get the focus off of my issues, but the loneliness is the worst. I am mostly home bound and I am just so very lonely. I just wish there were more support groups close by so that I could heal and make friends who understand.

Thank you for listening.

Kay

Kat not Kay, sorry for the typos. My hands shake and it's hard to text.

@FastidiumOnus. Dealing with these conditions sounds very difficult. Having to deal with the loneliness from being home bound on top of it is something that I can relate too. Did you know that the disability room has a weekly discussion on Thursdays at 11:00 am edt. It’s like a support group that can be done from home. I’ll try to post the link.

@FastidiumOnus Welcome Kay!

I understand the loneliness, I don't get out much either. Connecting online helps although it's certainly not the same as face to face.

I'm hoping to get to more outdoor social events in the neighbourhood in the next few months. COVID has hindered that a fair bit for me, plus here sitting outside and chatting weather is fairly limited!
