Chronic Illness and Faworki Eaters
Let's have a chat about disability support for chronic illness...specific to those of us who have chronic fatigue and pain, and who like to eat faworki and golabki!
@Antoniaaaaa
@RaspberryCup8692 Clever girl thank you for addind me here 😊
Hi @Antoniaaaaa, hope your week is off to a good start, how are you doing?
I found a web community that is all about chronic illness...called https://themighty.com/
Maybe there are some stories or articles on there that you can relate to...
Hope today was a good day, but if it wasn't, hang in there - tomorrow might be better!

It is interesting to make it specific to people who eat those foods. I like cabbage, and I might eat kimchi or sauerkraut or cabbage soup or stuffed cabbage. But I don't eat a lot of deep-fried foods, and I avoid carbs so the Faworki would probably not be something I would eat. I find that I can positively influence my fatigue by eating well. I have not been able to cure it though.
@BlindGrapefruit
Hi there...you are right about eating well having a positive influence on your fatigue as well as other symptoms of chronic illness. I have found my situation to be the same - that good food defnitely makes my life less miserable, but that it isn't enough to rid me of the illness.
@Antoniaaaaa and I were having a discussion about Polish food in a group chat before I started this thread, that's where the food references came from ;)

I have cfs and pain. I also love stuffed cabbage. I have not tried the other yet. I am also diabetic so i need to watch carb intake.
