On-going illness

Amethystos January 6th, 2022

I had my first surgery when I was 25 because of mid-ear infection.

It was a severe one and I tried to cheer myself up thinking that they spotted it in time to cure. Doctors said I'd have slight infection every 3-4 months, I prepared myself for that. I was like they said for a year, but now it has been 3-4 months and my ear still infected.... Have been changing doctors and medicines, I'm so scared I might have to undergo another surgery.

I'm so scared last night I woke up from my sleep, body shaking uncontrollably and heart racing. Diseases come after diseases and I don't know what will happen anymore....

I am so sorry you are going through this @Amethystos. I can understand the fear of not knowing what is next. When it comes to our individual health we like to be in control and when we don't have control it makes us feel vulnerable and scared. It is okay to be scared though. That is a very normal reaction. It is impossible for us to see the future but I like to believe that having hope is the way to go. Maybe it won't change the outcome but in the moment it provides us a little bit of relief and takes our mind off of the scariness. I am sending you good vibes your way and pray for healing for you!

Thanl you so much for your kind words :( Doing that might lighten the stress for a short time, I find it hard to focus on the positive side knowing that my health isn't good, especially at night when I go to sleep
