So, i feel really down all the time and always in alot of pain...Sometimes i wish i was dead. I cant get no help. And its all too much. I just change moods really quickly, like one minute im fine the next im so depressed and then angry, then i take it out on everyone else and i hate it.
I dont feel good enough for anyone, i mean i feel like everyone hates me even my bf. But he says he doesnt but my mind just cant stop thinking it. Ugh im so tired of this, not been sleeping properly or eating properly.
Just dont know what to do anymore

@bestMap6925 Hi. Our minds can come up with lots of thoughts. Thoughts drive emotion, and emotion can then drive even more negative thought. Some things that might help:
- A thought is just a thought
- An emotion is just an emotion
- when we are upset, we can fall into negative thinking that generates even more negative thoughts
- negative thinking usually doesn’t go away by trying to think “happy thoughts” although gratitude can help
- negative thinking is a “distortion” of reality - for example, “I’m a total loser” is very distorted and illogical. A total looser would mean 100%, perfect a loosing. A total looser would not be able to successfully get a sock on their foot, make a cup of coffee, they would fail at everything. Everyone fails at something, and no one succeeds 100% at everything. So this is one way we defeat negative thoughts, by learning that our depressing thoughts are flawed. It’s not a personal failing to be deceived by our thoughts either - it’s common, and so are the types of thoughts that people fall prey to
- We can learn to see our thoughts and emotions as “events” similar to the weather. It’s nice and sunny and then clouds move in. No one caused that, it just happened. Our thoughts pop out of nowhere - we don’t really choose our thoughts - if we did, we would never choose negative ones. We don’t choose our emotions.
