Accepting depression

I have recently accepted completely that I am depressed. It made me feel sad but ultimately it felt peaceful like a weight has been lifted over my head.

i’m glad you have came to terms with yourself. it is very important to be aware of how you are feeling because i know sometimes it can be very difficult and self conflicting if you push it away. i know accepting it is incredibly difficult and includes patience, so i’m very proud of you. these are your first steps to healing. remember healing is not linear and it is okay to feel not okay, do not invalidate your feelings. you aren’t alone in the process of healing and struggling. you got this!
