Can Depression Come Back?
I had depression a few years ago. The relief I felt after realizing that Im out of it was the best feeling. But lately it feels like its coming back... and its worse than the last time. I dont know what to do? This time its much more difficult and there's no one I can talk to about it.

It sounds like you are really so self-aware. Think about what helped you when you started to feel this way last time? Also, if you have a doctor that you trust and feel comfortable talking to about this, definitely do it. I love that you are identifying this now before things start to feel much worse. Sending you hugs!
@unlouix To answer your question, yes, depression can come back. The official guide (in the US, known as DSM-5) notes that some people "experience many years with few or no symptoms between discrete episodes" of depression.
As you probably know from the last time you had depression, it is often treated with medication prescribed by a doctor, it is often treated with therapy, and sometimes with both together. Whether you approach a doctor or a therapist about your depression coming back is up to you. If I remember right, some recent research has shown that therapy is often a more long lasting treatment than medication.
