i think it is important to step back and look at where you are. in times when you begin to feel anxious or even in times when you are feeling great. it is important to know where you stand, how you got there, and not to forget how much you have accomplished. everyday there is a thought that pops up somewhere throughout the day, "you were depressed, you are in recovery, you are doing better." and then, not everyday but sometimes, you have a day where you hear about depression or see something depressing or read something depressing and you get anxious. take a step back. breathe. in and out. in and out. look at yourself physically or mentally or both. remember how much you have accomplished. remember you are still on a journey. you are not off track, you are still stumbling along the same path. AND SMILE.
