@Courtney26 I'm glad to hear that you've noticed a slight improvement on the Zoloft--I would definitely recommend checking in with your prescriber to let them know you're still having a lot of trouble getting out of bed due to your depression, they may want to increase your dose, try a different med, or combine a supplemental med with the Zoloft to boost its effect so its really important to be honest with them on how it's working for you.
I can't give any medical advice obviously as I am not trained and it is unethical to do, but I can explain my history with depression meds (though keep in mind that everyone's brain and symptoms are so different so what works for one person won't necessarily work for someone else and vice versa)
My first medication was Paxil which was not effective for me, followed by Prozac which was not effective for me, followed by celexa which was not effective for me, followed by effexor and zyprexa which were not effective for me, and finally Zoloft which was not very effective until they recently started me on abilify to supplement and I now have been feeling a ton better than I have in a long time. All this to say that everyone is so different and unfortunately psych meds are a lot of trial and error which can be super disheartening and frustrating, but just because some meds don't seem to help at first (or at all), it doesn't mean there isn't one out there that will.
Take care 💜
