Hey guys :)

And welcome to my second blog :)
My aim to to try and write one blog a week on here.
so feel free to send me a message or comment blow anything you'd like me to write about/share my opinion about.

Today I wanted to talk about depression and how people always seem to feel trapped by it.
-puts my hand up- I am one of then many people that feels trapped by my depression. Sometimes I do feel like I am trapped in a worle wind and can't get out of it. It's like a ring of fire has formed and you can't access the fire hose without stepping out of the fire and risk getting burnt or injuryed by that circle of fire.

Depression is a thing many people in the society have now..When I first got diagnosed with depression. I questioned it and I told the doctor to re test me..I told him that they cant diagnose everyone in this world with depression.. I was pretty much in denial about it and was going pretty crazy...

But facing the facts..Depression is a massive thing in many lifes.
and it can take part in small doses or massive dosages
Some people feel really lead by there depression. And it's also seems impossible to lead a life without it..
It's like a 2nd/3rd parent maybe?

Did you know that over the last tens years figures have increased my 68%

1 in 10 children and young people aged 5 - 16 suffer from a diagnosable mental health disorder - that is around three children in every class- You could even be sat next to someone in a lesson or walking past someone with depression

depression is all around us..

depression has formed a prison around us and we can't escape

BUT together WE WILL beat depression

We WILL win this battle

and we WONT go down without a fight :)

I understand that it can be easier said than done but sometimes we have to try our best...

Reaching out for support can be on of many ways in helping ourselves beat depression. Sometimes people feel so trapped they don't even know where to look..Its like a mystery and no one understands it..

I really understand how you feel but we will beat this

your not alone in any of this

Thank you for that. I am very alone. I have reached out a lot. I have heard every thing my supporters have told me. I use the skills that I learned in order to cope. However although they say I am not alone, in reality I really am. I hope you succeed in winning the battle against depression.

I have been dealing with depression and anxiety for about two years now, but I always need a crutch. Drugs or alcohol. Now it's alcohol. I feel so bad for myself because I have seizures (epilepsy) and the days I decide to take a break from drinking I feel dizzy and can't handle the bright lights. I also can't handle public places on the days I don't drink b/c I feel I will have a seizure. I only feel safe at home. It's like I've developed social anxiety. But in all reality, it's because I've been abusing narcotics as a teen/early adult, then started drinking instead, and neither is good for me b/c I have seizures. But I think you have a good point and it's maybe better said than done, but support from other people helps a lot. Negative views never help.
