Slowly drained by depression

When did it all start?

I started to think about depression ever since july of 2021 and since then my thoughts were becoming real and I even was at my tipping point a few times.

This has started due to family issues, school, and a few friends experiencing such events as well.

To be more exact, I'm having issues with my parents regarding my performance in school, feelings, attitude, behavior and much more. I will give more info for this via chat if you'd like. (Note: I'm only available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EET)

How did it manifest?

Depression did not manifest in a very severe manner. All it did for me so far is to give me feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, and guilt.

Additional Info

Even though I'm dealing with depression myself, I actually prevented a few people from suicide without even going to their house and I feel glad for it.

I can totally relate. Judging from what you've said. I think you will be okay. If you're parents are the problem I think you should talk it out when you are strong enough and know that what they say wont affect u so deeply anymore. Your depression has a cause that you can actually solve fortunately. I have faith in you.that you will solve it💖

@OvixHideout it's amazing you could help your friends despite feeling low yourself! Keep this strength in mind when you doubt yourself.

I'd say that it's time to take care of yourself now and aside from choosing listeners to chat to ( I think it's easier if you make first step and connect) I think it would be good for you to reach out to a school therapist or a mental health professional to support you with the depressive feelings. You don't have to do this alone.
