Normal?

Last night I had the freakyiest emtional breakdown ever. I was crying at first, and than stopped. Someone said something which made me laugh and than I started sobbing. I finally calmed down but than it happened again. Is that normal with depression? it was the weirdest thing I ever felt. Has anyone else ever had that?

@BrokenBell1 I have done this before and so has my mom. We both have depression. It is very, very confusing emotionally. I don't have any sientific answers... wish I did! Just wanted you to know you're not alone.
