Journaling for mental health
Hello, I'm new here to this app. I am dealing with a lot of stuff right now and it's overwhelming to say the least. I recently read about journaling to help with mental health and wondered if anyone here does it or has tried it. If so, how helpful is it?
I am also new i don't know anything i have heard so that i have joined
Journaling has been helpful lately. If I don’t have my journal on me I make sure to journal in my phone. I have to make sure to get my feelings out so I don’t feel overwhelmed.
I try to write for the sake of writing. Usually about my day and that's about it. But I would like to hear the style other people use for journaling. I hear others focus on gratitude journaling, affirmations journaling, stream of consciousness, spiritual journaling, or thoughts and feelings.
One of the ways of managing any mind-boggling feeling is to track down a solid method for communicating your thoughts. This makes a diary a supportive apparatus in dealing with your psychological wellness. Journaling can help you:Manage anxiety,Reduce stress
Adapt to wretchedness
Journaling helps control your manifestations and further develop your disposition by:
Assisting you with focusing on managing stress, anxiety, and depression
Following any manifestations everyday with the goal that you can perceive triggers and learn ways of bettering control them
Giving an open door to positive self-talk and distinguishing negative contemplations and practices
At the point when you have an issue and you're worried, keeping a journal can assist you with recognizing what's causing that pressure or tension. Whenever you've recognized your stressors, you can deal with an arrangement to determine the issues and lessen your stress.
Also you can add meditation, workout, healthy and mindful eating.
@SelfLove86 I try to journal everyday. It has been incredibly helpful for me and I do recommend trying it out to see if it works for you
Take it from me, I’ve been journalling daily since 8th grade and I’m 31 today. It is so freeing to be able to rant, get your thoughts all out on paper, and then put the book away along with all the negativity.
