Five Things I Love About Myself: 7 Cups Birthday
Sometimes it gets hard fo r us to remember all the things that were good at, and that were proud of ourselves for accomplishing. We need to give ourselves little reminders about all the good things in life that we enjoy doing and that make our lives worth living. So in honor of 7 cups 5th birthday Im hosting the discussion 5 things I love about myself. It could be anything from the way you look to an award you got or just that youre proud of yourself for getting up in the morning. We all need to learn to fall in loves with ourselves again and spread a little joy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is a great thread idea. Self-appreciation can shatter easily when facing mental illness, but it can also be built litte by little, such as with exercises like this one. Thank you for opening this thread.
Seeing that no one has posted, I guess I'll start. I have struggled with self-appreciation and self-love for a long time (and still struggle), but I am gradually getting better. Five things I love about myself are:
-How passionate of and intersectional feminist I am.
-That I have made it this far.
-My helpfulness.
-My eyebrows.
-My courage.
I wish 7Cups the happiest of birthdays and many happy returns!
@OrangeWarrior
ay feminists of the world unite XD. Thanks for sharing this. I wish I could say I like my eyebrows but they
@Hamilfan77 Yes, unite!
Thin eyebrows are great, too! I like to think of people as I would do of flowers and appreciate their diversity (inner and outer). And if you would like darker and/or thicker eyebrows, you can always use makeup. It's easier than it seems. When I feel like it, I use mascara on my eyebrows (with a simple brushing motion, brushing the hairs) or fill them in further with some eye pencil (it's just like drawing!).
@OrangeWarrior
XD maybe Ill try with the eyebrows
@Orangewarrior
check the profile pic for my failed attempt at eyebrows... I tried
Wishing 7Cups a happy 5th birthday and for many more years to come where this beautiful community exist and thanks to everyone who make any contribution to this community how small that can be ❤

@Hamilfan77
OwO this is a great ideeaaa!!!
Here's 5 things I love about myself (that I can think of XD)
~ I can draw decently
~ I somehow always found perfect songs for myself
~ I like my eyes, dunno why e,e
~ I'm really weird
~ I understand things deeply
@EmikoKokoro
honestly the most important skill in life is finding that perfect soundtrack XD
@Hamilfan77
I agreeeee XD
This is something I always struggle with! I always feel like whatever I have achieved or is good about myself, someone has done the same or better.
1. I will graduate university in December with a 2.1 in Biology
2. For having the courage to reach out for help when I needed to
3. I'm trying
4. I face my demons daily and I'm still standing
5. I'm working to take better care of myself!
@asheroo92
I know the struggle, but what youre doing is amazing and Im proud of all your accomplishments. You are enough so dont let anyone tell you otherwise (even if that anyone is yourself).
@Hamilfan77 thank you for understanding and the reminder that I'm enough!!
I love:
My hair
My eyes
My perseverance
My Smile
My laugh
Five things? Let's see...
1. My efforts. I understand that I have been privileged in many ways like not being born in a poor family, not having abusive parents and not suffering from any major diseases or disabilities, and I understand that all of this has contributed to whatever I have achieved. But there have also been efforts from my side, and I have worked hard to achieve what I have achieved.
2. My determination, which is facing a great test presently. And my belief that things will be better.
3. My nose. I like it.
4. My interest in various topics of study.
5. Going through with many (I'd like to change that to most in the coming years) promises I make, big and small.
