Depression and overcoming it?

I have found myself from time to time in those spots where it feels like everything had just turned upside down. I've been learning ways to manage my depression and things have been getting a bit better.

1) Listening to music.

2) Spending time with my son

3) Doing this internship has really helped because it has made me start to open my eyes at how things could be harder than they areand know at the end of the day that I have helped someone

Thank you so much there was a time where things were so overwhelming at I felt as thought I was at the bottom of the bottle, and there was no getting back to the top. It took a little while of therapy myself before I got everything straightened out and was ready to come and help people! If I may ask :) what brought you to volunteer for 7cupsofcoffee.

Hey @vince33, I know how hard it can be to get out of bed in the morning when you're feeling depressed and exhausted. Have you asked yourself about what makes you believe a day will be bad? I've found I have to beware of 'automatic negative thoughts,' that are self-defeating and may prevent me from finding ways toenjoylife. What good things might happen whenyou leave your bed?

Of course, I don't know all that's happening in your life right now that may be complicating things for you. I'm sorry you feel you want to sleepbad days away.If you'd like to talk about it, feel free to message me! And if you haven't seen it yet, you might want to look at7 Cups' depression support guideto find some tips for coping with this challenge. Best wishes to you.

Sometimes I wonder that and to be honest there are a lot of times it is hard, but I remember there are people who need me. They are the one thing that keeps me going
