Depression

When someone tells u not to do anything dumb like commit suicide I wonder if they acctually care or are they saying that because it's a safety net for them I'll explain if u do end up committing suicide then it won't be on there mind that they could of helped because since they asked about it in there mind they tried to help u if they never did that they would feel guilty my question is when someone reaches out are they reaching out because they truly care or do they only reach out because they want to save them self from a guilty mind
