Woo , A non profit day 😮 , that's awesome ~ non profit organizations sure do create such an impact and foster a holistic development for their cause ! Thanks for making us aware of it ❤ @EmmaE
That's a great list of so many NPO's , I would definitely like to volunteer as and where I can ~ so far sticking with 7 cups only though! 😊
How about you , Emma ?
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou

@EmmaE
aw thankyou Emma , right back at you ! ❤
@EmmaE
already wored for a large US wide based non-profit for years. Seen lots of what went on too on many diff levels. Amazing what can occur that is so inappropriate. Yes, even most paid jobs have this going in degrees, but, you really would not just expect this from a non-profit...no diff.....accounting booking is exactly backward in entries for one, lots of enphasis on constantly pressuring to get money for the needs of the non-profit, shall I go on............
@EmmaE
It's amazing post. Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about such day. It's really wonderful to see that there are so many websites and organizations which support people for free. I am not sure about what would I choose. Maybe a organization that can provide people basic necessities who can't afford ❤
@LovetoGod
thank you so much! and that's so amazing - choosing an organization that can provide people with basic necessities who can't afford them would be so helpful!

@EmmaE
Yeah welcome ❤✨
How to post here? I forgot
I would choose water.org because many people around the world don’t have access to something most of us take for granted - clean water to drink.
Its great you are shining the spotlight on some wonderful life changing organisations @EmmaE
Personally I would choose the NSPCC. https://www.nspcc.org.uk/ (National Society for the prevention of cruelty to children)
They are a non profit charity based in the UK, who work really closely with social services. THey have a national helpline that is manned 24/7 and do things like awareness training in schools. They also provide free therapy to children who have went through the worst. Also working closely with parents who have offended to make sure they never do it agan...
They are wonderful - maybe one day I could donate my time on the helpline or something. (:
Thank you for the post.
I try to give some of my time to Holy Family Institute. And when I can't I donate money. I also spent over three years there as a child. It was a wonderful experience. I learned how to become part of a community and be a better person. At the time I was there; we could only remain until fifteen years of age. Children were moved to another facility. I was fortunate; my father came and took my older sister and I after he married and my sister had turned fifteen. But places such as this exist to give children without parents and children in difficult situations a place to grow and become the person they are meant to be. I return to Holy Family Institute when they have reunions; it's wonderful to see so many friends and to know many of them turned out well. xandia
@xandia
wow, the holy family institute sounds like a really amazing place! i'm so glad to hear that it helped you become part of a community and be a better person. the reunions sound so incredible and i'm sure it's so nice to see how many of your friends turned out well! (:

@EmmaE I actually donate and volunteer at some! I volunteer at my state chapter for Prevent Child Abuse America. I also volunteer Group Efforts and in the Warehouse at the Shalom Center. I volunteered once at ELCA Outreacher Center thanks to my sister c: I helped plan and organize fundraisers and did some Job Search Assistance. I also donated plastic grocery bags, school supplies, gently used clothes, 3 bottles of water, and a couple of dollars. The other place I used to volunteer a lot for is WALKIN' IN MY SHOES. I did some Fundraising, Deliveries, Phone Assistance, and Clerical Work. I only donated bugspray and bottled water. Another time I donated sunscreen, fruit cups (I think three?), a blanket and a pillow! C:
St. Judes It breaks my heart to see kids suffer!
@GoodTrouble19, Oh, I feel you. I can't even listen about suffering kids without tears. I wish everyone wanted to help them.
I do want to help non-profit organizations. What is the best way to find them?
@BesYar
I'd recommend you to help your local non-profits. I am personally launching a non-profit organization. I will help educate graduating Seniors as they head out into the world, to understand the things not taught in school such as managing finances, buying a home, managing credit, investing properly, buying a car etc... Gonna list it through https://betterworld.org/ to fundraise easily
