What has helped you stay motivated during your tough days?
Each person has a different definition of the word 'motivation.' Personally, I like to think that motivation is your why, the reason you are fighting, your cause to do anything. Motivation can help a person to perform some actions faster and more effective. If someone has a low level of motivation then he might perform the actions for a longer period of time or maybe not even complete them at all. Motivation is the skill that will make us keep going and fight for our goals. Sometimes, when we feel like we are giving up, it's a good idea to take a break. Stop for a minute, take a big breath and look around you. Look what you have achieved and how hard you have worked! Do you want all that to be gone? You truly deserve the best and we all believe in you! Now turn your head ahead do you see your goal? It's waiting for you! Sometimes, we need to take a break and reflect on our progress. We need to remind ourselves how hard we have tried to reach that goal and what our goal is! That's why we can stay motivated. Make sure to surround yourself with people that will support you in your journey and help you if you need any help. So, all in all, motivation is like a candle that comes to our minds when there is darkness and when we feel we are drowning in our thoughts and feelings.
Now, we all have our lows and ups! The point is to know how to handle those tough days and turn them into good ones!
What has helped you stay motivated during your tough days?
Reading about various fellow fighters struggles and how they're successfully coping with it. These conversations really motivate me to be positive about the upcoming times!
“My biggest motivation is family. They are my biggest source of inspiration and my strongest supporters as well. When I see my parents working, it gives me the drive to be like them. Their dedication to working is what motivates me to be like them. They are self-motivated individuals. Hence I try to imbibe their positivism into my life. I have learned from my father how to not give up on a tough client. The essence is to go through the grind to really know what the other person wants. This excites me to take up greater challenges and risks without the fear of failure or backing out
My "why" my "reason" is because life is a gift, and both the inner and outer worlds are so large! There's so much to explore, learn, see, experience, do, play, relate, love, give, try... inward and outward! This keeps me going, finding new journeys to explore and try however limiting or expansive my body/pain/situation allows :)
@onwardforevenmore Life is indeed a gift! I love your message, thank you so much for sharing it with us! <3
@onwardforevenmore
Hi.
I liked to read your post. You use the expressions "inner and outer worlds" - ha! - I thought it was just me that said that. Because of sickness (ME/CFS - lack of energy) my day is more and more (99%) inside my house. So my world is more and more inside my head.
@ASilentBunny Great post!!
For me it is My Faith , Family and Friends!
I love my Hubby , My son, My Grandson, My daughter inlaw, My Furbaby , The Lord .. friends ! They all keep me going and it sure helps me !
I am so thankful and grateful for each and everyday when I didn't use too be!
We are blessed to have this site and so many great people on here !

What has helped you stay motivated during your tough days?
Hi - thank you for a fine writing.
Tough days - when the energy is very low (I suffer from ME/CFS - lack of energy) - I just have to wait for energy to come so I can do things, give water to a flower or something. But God/Jesus Christ is there all the time. So I eat some chokolate and drink some coffee.
@Helgafy I am so sorry to hear that! Some hot chocolate and coffee can literally help you to boost your energy! Maybe going for a walk might help too! You got this
@ASilentBunny
Hi.
Thank you for your answer. And yes - I could wish to be able to go for a walk - but the sickness does not allow that (not enough energy). But today I could live a big dream - walking outside to my terrasse-garden to check my roses (the leaves) to see if there were any louses. And yes, 2 of my 10 small rose-bushes had them so I sprayed them to die. You and I are neighbours - only the North-Sea between England and Norway.
@ASilentBunny
At this point I'm pretty sure I'm running on pure spite. I'm motivated by my determination to prove everyone I can do it.
@CupoSad076
Sweet young person. I'm glad you're running!
All the best from your friend Helga who has the same heart as yours in my bedroom.
A lot of things help me stay motivated within the day or even a rough one. What really motivates me though is my cat and music. I have became emotionally attached to my cat and she is like half of my soul. Whenever I'm around her I instantly feel better. So I always think about her when I'm having a hard time. I also love music, I think it is something I can't live without. It helps me express who I am and it helps me enjoy it and get into a groove. I also tend to be motivated by anime, I have alot of comfort characters and when I imagine them talking to me I fell a bit better. Yes, my family and friends do motivate me but I feel as though most of the time these are my main reasons
@Littlebaku123 Aw, it's so nice to read about your relationship with your cat! Animals can literally help us on improving our mental health! And yes music can help us a lot to express our feelings when we feel we are stuck. What's your favorite song? :o
Thank you <3. I have tons of favorite songs but my favorite two are
scares to your beautiful by Alessia clara. and She used to be mine
:Chloe Adams cover. they just show how much I feel but they are both.
So pretty and amazing.
