Music that feels like it speaks for me
I often come across songs that feel like they say how I feel. It won't be the same for everyone - that's the great thing about music (or any art for that matter) - it can have different meanings for different people.
These songs are special to me (yesss I know how lame some are hehe) so I thought I'd share them as well as create a space for others to do so.
LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
Don't leave me alone.

Am I the only one I know, waging my wars behind my face and above my throat?---Migraine by TOP
@Nagisa
Yes I feel this too they are a good way of helping you cope
@Nagisa
Come please I'm callin'
And all I need from you
Hurry I'm fallin', I'm fallin'
Nickelback - savin me
You think twice about your life,
It probably happens at night,
Right?
Fight it,
Take the pain, ignite it,
Tie a noose around your mind
Loose enough to breathe fine and tie it
To a tree. Tell it, "You belong to me.
This ain't a noose, this is a leash.
And I have news for you: you must obey me."
Holding onto you by Twenty One Pilots |-/
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free
Blackbird fly
Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night
Blackbird - The Beatles, but I prefer Sarah McLachlan's version
"Run, run, lost boy," they say to me,
"Away from all of reality."
Neverland is home to lost boys like me
And lost boys like me are free ♥
First Aid Kit - My Silver Lining
The whole song basically, but these are my favourite snippets:
I don't know if I'm scared of dying but I'm scared of living too fast, too slow
Regret, remorse, hold on, oh no I've got to go
I try not to hold on to what is gone, I try to do right what is wrong
I try to keep on keeping on
These shackles I've made in an attempt to be free
Be it for reason, be it for love
I won't take the easy road

@Nagisa This is Julia Fischer (she's so beautiful!) performing Antonio Vivaldi's Spring Concerto from his famous Four Seasons. The Four Seasons was a series of four concertos, each representing a season of the year. Vivaldi also laid out the Four Seasons in a way which used the four seasons of the year as a metaphor for a human life span. Spring reprents youth, the music is up-beat and lively, like a young person. Summer represents a young adult, no longer an adolescent, and is a bit more subdued. Fall represnts old age, and is a bit slower than the first two concertos. Winter represents death, and is very slow and somber. I think it's a work of genius, and the best piece of music Antonio Vivaldi ever wrote, his magnum opus. Vivaldi lived during the Baroque era of music, which was known as a grandiose style of music with very large orchestras. I love Vivaldi's Spring concerto, as it reminds me of the wonderful childhood I had. When I listen to this piece of music I imagine myself as a child running along a creek that ran in front of my parents' house in the woods. In those days I didn't have a care in the world, and everything in the world seemed so sweet and innocent. So, without further ado, here it is: :D
