anyone else?
do you ever have this weird thinking,
while suffering from depression,
that you’re unable to clean your room
and because your room isn’t clean,
and it just keeps getting messier and nastier,
you feel that you can’t shower
because showering won’t make you feel clean
when you’re sitting in a filthy room
so you’ll feel disgusting all the time
until you’re able to clean your room
and then you can shower,
feel clean,
clean your nails,
shave,
wash your hair,
and brush your teeth
so a week or two goes by and you feel like you’re rotting away?
@conscientiousLion13 Don't feel bad or ashamed. A lot of people also deal with this problem too. It seems you've realized that this is a problem. If you want to change, you need to feel motivated about it. You could start by making small changes like just cleaning your desk every day. Once you get the hang of it, you can move to brushing teeth daily, and etc.
Yes totally. Your brain lies to you with depression. For me, it is forcing me to do at least a little of that kind of stuff anyway. Every little bit counts even if one day it is brushing your teeth and the next it is making your bed. @conscientiousLion13
