Daily Check-in for April 13th 2022

kindcherry2 April 13th, 2022

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

How are you feeling and why do you think you feel this way?

Are you ready for the weekend?

Is anything stressing you out? If so what and why?

@kindcherry2

I used to be an early bird and only needed 4 hours of sleep. I am going through my depressive stage in my mental health again and now I can't get enough sleep. So lately I have been a late owl.

I feel sad, irritated, but excited about the future all the same. I am feeling thankful.

I am never ready for the weekend because since the pandemic, every day is the same!

My mental health issues, anger, irritability and feeling tired are stressing me out.

Hey Sugar,

I'm sorry to here you are struggling with your mental health and your depression. I know it isn't an easy journey on the way to recovery but I believe you can do it and get there. I'm honestly both for school I have to get up early but go to bed let due to mental health so I know how you feel. I'm sorry to hear you are feeling sad, irritated and excited about the future. Not knowing what the future is fearful. I'm glad you are thankful for whatever good things you are thankful for. I understand not being ready for the weekend honestly I'm not either. I understand keeping up with your mental health can be overwhelming and stressful. I hope you feel better and know that 7 cups is here for you during this journey of yours. Please take care and stay safe!💗

More an early bird than a night owl. Feeling stressed, anxious. Terminally ill parent. My mother is my biggest support, cheerleader and friend. So, her being healthy and then very sick the next day,, it seems sudden and out of the blue. Have also gone through depression, divorce, and so much. It seems like too much too soon. I just have to put one foot in front of the other and go on. Do what I can and accept what I cannot.

Hey Orange,

I see. Early birds are good. I'm sorry to hear you are stressed and about your ill parent. I know this journey isn't easy. I understand your mother being your everything to you and her being sick is overwhelming and stressful. I'm sorry to hear that you know what depression feels like and divorce just sounds awful. You don't deserve any of this at all. I would understand why you are so stressed out. This would be a lot for any one person to carry. I hope things get better soon and please know you're not alone in this journey and 7 cups cares about you. Whatever you feel is valid. Please stay safe. 💗

1. Certainly a night owl . Mornings aren't for me .

2. Not feeling well at all . It's a sinking feeling this .

3. Weekend almost over as I type this.

4. So I would be changing my current psychiatrist and taking new meds from Monday . I am so scared of it's repercussions .

More night owl. I’m a complete grouch in the mornings. I feel worse off on the weekends. More stressful on the weekends cuz there’s a stressor that happens at that time. But this is the best I’ve felt on the weekends in a long time. Tho I still don’t feel great when it’s the weekend in general. It’s the weekend now. I wasn’t ready for it. I’m still not ready. The stressor on the weekends stress me out.
