Any Ghibli movie fans out there?
Found an old drawing I did—12-year-old me was obsessed with Howl and his moving castle. Though it is a bit scandalous art for a preteen!
Any Ghibli fans here? My all-time fav is Spirited Away. What's your favorite Ghibli movie?
@azurePond
Meeee! Love their movies and agreed, Spirited Away is the best!🥰
Super beautiful drawing!😍
@azurePond
I absolutely love Ghibli movies :D my favorite is Castle in the Sky, but ive watched like 7 (?) other movies from Ghibli too, like Ponyo, Grave of the Fireflies, Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, From Up on Poppy Hill, Spirited Away, and etc. Although the last time i watched Ghibli movies was around 5 years ago, so i barely have any memories of it :")
Aside from that, i absolutely love Studio Ghibli OST, and i love Joe Hisaishi's songs. One of my fave songs is One Summer's Day. What about you? :D
@pinkKite8784 I’m a huge fan of Ghibli films too! Castle in the Sky is such a classic – definitely one of my favorites as well. The adventure and magic in that film are just amazing. You've watched so many great ones too! Ponyo, Totoro, and Spirited Away are all timeless, each with its own special charm. And yes, Joe Hisaishi’s music is absolutely incredible. One Summer’s Day is such a beautiful track. (Spirited Away is my favourite). I also adore The Merry-Go-Round of Life from Howl’s Moving Castle – it’s so bittersweet, with both happiness and sadness wrapped up in it. And of course - Ashitaka’s Theme from Princess Mononoke is stunning too. I’d love to see Joe Hisaishi live one day and hear all those incredible pieces in person. I watch his YouTube videos of Princess Mononoke tracks, and when that lady starts singing towards the end, it’s like I’m in heaven – the feeling it gives is just indescribable.

I totally forgot to mention Princess Mononoke, i really like its soundtracks! Like the legend of ashitaka, and some other songs which i've forgotten about. It's been a while since ive listened to ghibli music, i usually listen to chinese songs these days :")
And yes ive watched Joe Hisaishi's concert too on Youtube. It's incredibly beautiful. I would loveee to go to his concerts, but i think i will cry from joy if i were actually there :")
