I feel safe to say that probably the majority of Canadians are nice and polite, but we all have enemies and I know some pretty mean Canadians.
I've only been to another country once, so I don't have an input on whether or not we're nice than, say, America (no hate, America). But my parents have told me that Canada is a lot more polite (holding doors open, letting the other person go first, etc.), And a German exchange student told us that Canda is soooooo much nicer and more polite than Germany. He said he didn't want to go back because compared to canada, the people in Germany are rude. (His words, not mine--no hate, Germany)
