What is that one thing about your culture that you love the most

it is hard to describe what is the culture in Canada because of our shared history of diversity and inclusion. I am a Cree first nation and it iis unique and different fron the others in Canada, and our experience and history has not been a happy one since colonization and residential schools. I could say a lot more and will about culture in Canada, but the description that fits my family, community, nation, and ancestors is RESILIANT.

What I love about my culture is that there is variety from around the world. The mix of cultures that have blended in one continent makes life so rich! ( I am in the USA)

I find it hilarious that every cliche of Canadian culture has them all saying 'eh?' and 'Sorry!', constantly, because unlike so many cultural cliches its actually totally accurate. I practically end every sentence in 'eh?' and it's impossible to go anywhere without saying 'sorry' to someone or having them say it to you - or more often than not, both of you saying it. It it such an adorable cultural trait - I love it!

Where I am from, everyone, in passing, looks at one another and we wave or nod in acknowledgement. We hold doors for people when we go into a store. We say yes ma'am, yes sir, thank you, your welcome, bless your heart, and everyone is called honey, sugar, sweetie, and baby.
