Name the dish that you cook best😍

HealingSinthia March 31st, 2019

Most of us enjoy cooking😍 recall the time when you are in kitchen in your full chef mode with chopping board and knife doing tak tak tak tak while chopping veggies and you dance to the rhythm of the music going on in your mind or in the background. The foodies who love to cook, cook with so passion and delight.

Here is the space to share your best chef recipes and also share what secret formula or tip makes it best😍

Starting with mine first, i love to cook pasta. Its my favorite dish. I cook it in a different way, makes it saucy, with arabiatta and cheese sauce. Normally, italian pasta tastes bland, but i like to make it extra spicy as per my choice😍😍 and the best tip to have good pasta is not to over boil it and rinse it with cold water after boiling until you saute veggies and prepares sauce.

I shared mine lovely recipe with a special tinge of mine with a chef's tip. How about yours?

I.love experimenting in kitchen. My favourites are many however admitting I am lazy I cook quick south indian dish which is called with many names. I call it UGAANI coz that's what I have been thaught. It's made with puffed rice rinsed in water and fried on low flame adding spices and oil and most importantly special powder of Bengal gram and spices. Tastes yummy and is very quick to cook.

Love to know more recipes here!!

If you had a best dish that would mean there would be no better dish to cook. I do not like sulerlatives because better always beats best so I like to be better at another dish as soon as I am best at cooking oneπŸ˜‰.

Come to Mumbai Wolf. Pav we get in Mumbai are not available anywhere else in this world.

I'm sure there are food dishes peculiar to Banglore too which are not available elsewhere.

@HealingSinthia

Oops , I just noticed a typo there . I meant sev tamatar sabzi*

It's the similar mix we use for any other sabzi :

2tbs oil heated in a pan + cumin seeds + turmeric + ginger + green chillies

Add fresh tomatoes mixed paste to it and a bit of water

As the above mix gets properly heated , add vegetable masala (kitchen king) and salt to taste.

Add dry bhavnagri (thin sev /red sev /ghathiya) to this curry after switching off the gas .

Garnish it with finely chopped coriander.

Enjoy !! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜Š

Lovely. I make similar tadka (masala mix) but with ginger onion garlic tomato and green chilli, never tried it with sev, i am sure it would taste lovely. I can imagine its yummy texture and crispy crunch with tanginess in my mouth lol

@HealingSinthia

Yeah I forgot to mention, it is kindof Saatvik prep and excludes onion garlic

I rarely use refined sugar, red chillies or chilli powder and garlic in my food.

I guess you will enjoy eating this one with fulka rotis.

Hiiii,

Get ready to time travel to when you were kidsπŸ˜‹.

Here is sweet and sour tamarind recipe for people who are nostalgic or those who wanna go crazy.

Aim: to thank the guy who posted this.

Apparatus:

Mortar (one used for crushing or grinding.. not that on clash of clans)

Ingridents:

50gms tamarind (this is small amount for trial)

1/2 TS salt (powdered ofcourse)

Pinch of cumin seeds (trust me.. you will regret if more than a pinch)

Procedure:

Crush the cumin seeds.. grind it as much as possible. Remember aim is to thank me not to grind it to fine powder. πŸ˜…

Add salt and continue crushing/grinding.

Add tamarind and keep grinding and keep mixing so that salt and cumin powder/fibre is distributed evenly.

Once u feel it looks like batter, taste a little.. if u feel like doing some adjustments this is the time.

If u like it.. definitely you will grab some more while drooling badly.

You can make small balls and stick a toothpick as crazy pop or you can stick it to spoon like nutrella on spoon. And keep licking till you feels shocks from tooth or saliva gland.πŸ˜‚

Result: drooling profusely for a snack which is ready in 5 mins.

Hope you will enjoy this!!
