...See more Hiyaaa beautiful people ! Hoping everyone is doing well and staying safe 💜 Let's talk about Trying , and the power of trying today. Remember when you tried something for the first time, how did you feel about it ? Was it exciting, nerve wracking , nonchalant , mix of everything at once ? But hey, however the feeling was , you did try it then and perhaps you're engaging in it ever since . Sometimes our best efforts might not be rewarded with the best results or even results we would like to see , but just simply trying and giving our best is quite something too ~ worth a praise and worth reassuring to keep on trying again and worth a pat on your back for even thinking about trying and willing to take a step forward. 💜 What is something you tried recently? How do you feel about it ? ( remember, it is one thing to get what you wanted to by that trial but another to even have the will to try at something, we want to acknowledge our efforts even when the results are not what we want or not quick to show up for us ) 💜 What is something you'd like to try soon ? Why ? Every day is a chance to learn something new about each other, and our world. This month we're honoring the LGBTQ+ community. I'd love to know how you celebrate Pride in your country and/or culture! ...See more Here's about my Thiruvananthapuram trip 😊 I had a desire to visit Thiruvananthapuram (TVM) City and had it on my to-do list for this year. Two days ago when i accidentally checked the was tickets available on the train for Coimbatore to TVM. I immediately pounced on it and booked my tickets. My desire was to visit the city's famous Padmanaba swamy temple, go to the museums nearby and also visit the beach. As luck would have it everything went as per plan 🙂  Initially i had tough time finding a hotel room because the city was hosting a film festival. So the hotel rooms were all filled by film students and film buffs. I somehow managed to get a room, got ready and went down for breakfast. I was surprised by the option that i had. The had Puttu with channa gravy. It was my favourite and i relished that yummy dish.  I did have to meet a few customers and I managed to do that quickly. Enroute i managed to make friends with an auto driver who was very kind to me. After that i went to the temple. It was very huge and i was amazed by its grand setup. There was a lot of people and i had to wait for almost an hour to see the deity. It was truly a marvelous sight and enjoyed the sight. As i got out i also got in queue to have the lunch offered at the temple. The rice used in Kerala is different, that's big and red in colour. It has a delicious taste. I enjoyed the lunch and got back to my room. I was tired so i took a quick nap. After an hour i went to the wax museum, Art gallery, royal palace tour and finished the sightseeing with a visit to the beach for sunset 😊 As i write this great days experience I'm really glad i took a day off for myself and had fun 😀 I also managed to finish a half marathon recently 😄 it was a challenging one but i managed to finish it. Good learning experience on grit, patience and pers everance

...See more 💚 Hello Amazing people from around the world , I hope y'all are doing well . Today we will be learning about India's annual Forest /Tree Festival , known as the Van Mahotsav . It is a week-long festival celebrated from July 1 to 7 during which millions of trees are planted all over India. It was initiated in 1950 by K.M. Munshi, the then Union Minister for Agriculture (India) , to create an enthusiasm in the mind of the populace for the conservation of forests and planting of trees. Van Mahotsav is celebrated in India by planting tens and thousands of saplings. It is a festival that encourages the citizens of India to plant more trees. Forests and trees help in lowering the carbon footprint and maintain ecological balance. Van Mahotsav's celebration in the first week of July also coincides with the onset of the monsoon. I think it is quite cool to have a festival dedicated to trees and forests, with so much development leading to deforestation and depleting forests and nature's resources, we definitely should give back to nature in way or another . There's a popular saying, the seeds we plant today will bear fruits tomorrow, all the more reason to plant for more trees and celebrate our forests.
