What are some effective ways to de-stigmatize mental health conditions and seeking help?

there are many ways to de-stigmatize mental illness and realize that you need help, but you need to choose the path that is right for you...

1) self acceptance that you need medical attention for mental illness

2) the ability to be honest to health professionals about your mental health

3) knowing what to say to your loved ones and those who care for you when you realize that you are not feeling well mentally

4) talk to a primary care physician about how you feel emotionally and if these emotions require you to see a specialist

there are many ways to de-stigmatize mental illness, but make sure to seek help on your own terms, just as you would deal with any other health related problem...
