Without further ado, here is the prompt for today:"You add warmth to my days."

You make it seem, a little less bad,
For the comfort you hold,
The sadness you fold,
The moments that scatter,
Including the people that matter,
In you, I hear the laughter,
I see the smiles, the happiness is felt,
The millions of memories that make my heart melt,
Photographs and albums,
You're a savior, for you add warmth to my days,
And you do it so, in the most heart-warming ways.

Since everyone were writing happy poems I thought of writing a sad one . It's a bit lame and gibberish, so I apologise in advance . Give it a read if u are immune to rubbish writing !!!!!
YOU add warmth to my days ,
By doing so , the ecstasy inside me perpetually stays ,
Like how a tall banyan tree in strong winds sways ,
Like how an innocent child with a new - bought toy plays,
Like how a rose petal shines after first drops of rain ,
Like how someone with an illness smiles bereft of any pain,
But then, I open my eyes out of the blue ,
Realising all this was a mere dream and there is no YOU ,
But I feign a smile , realising what a sweet dream it was , a true experience of boundless pleasure ,
If only , YOU were still there in my life to add warmth to my days and I would hold you as a valuable treasure .

I believe you're strong
In your eyes, a flaming glow
I know we will have something to fear
