...See more NOTE: Please do not reply to this thread. Instead, hit the subscribe button to receive notifications when mentor availability is updated. Hi everyone! At 7Cups, we encourage our leaders to take breaks because self-care is a top priority. As a result, our Academy Mentors may occasionally go on break. This post will help keep you updated on those changes. If a mentor's name is not listed, it means they are no longer an Academy Mentor for this program. Mentors who are ACTIVE are coloured blue while those who are ON-BREAK are coloured Red. 🔵 : You may approach these mentors with program-related concerns. If a mentor is marked blue and they do not respond to you within 2 days, please let us know [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScL5tEep7p0g-WlauETlbQFXjGdHQHMKPRw3Z-faNb6X-5lFg/viewform]through this form. All Aboard the Gratitude Express: Come In And Share Your Joyful Moments
by PetiteSouris
Last post
August 13th
...See more ☻Howdy Content Development and Marketing Community‼️☻ This is my final post for the Content and Development Marketing "5 forum posts" elective requirement. I wanted it to be a meaningful one. I brainstormed for quite a while and considered writing about Motivational Interviewing, especially since I’m taking a course on it. But after some reflection, I thought, "Nah, too boring, Souris‼ " Yesterday, I was feeling overwhelmed with an outpouring of thanks. A mentee of mine sent me this message: "Hi Petite, I want to let you know that I appreciate all that you are doing, not only for me but also for the 7Cups community. Because of what you are doing, lots of us are growing." Wow! It was the most heartwarming message ever! So today, grab your tea🫖, coffee☕️, or water💦 because we’re diving into something truly uplifting. Today, we’re going to talk about ❤︎GRATITUDE❤︎- it makes us feel better and spreads positivity all around. So let's celebrate what we are thankful for and ✨shine a light✨ on our Joyful Moments.  Here are THREE ways to Shine a Light on Your Joyful Moments: 1. Celebrate Your Wins- I am participating in a Fitness study with a research university and I was given a coach to help me along the way. Often times, I feel as if I haven't  made any progress. And he reminds me, "Hey! However small, celebrate the things which brought you joy." So I challenge you, What are some things that made you 🙂smile🙃 recently?  2. Spotlight on People- If you didn't skip to this part, then you've read how grateful I felt reading my mentees comment to me. I gave them a Shout-Out🔊, didn't I? Give a shout-out to someone who  has made a positive impact in your life. It can even be the waiter at your "go to restaurant" who always remembers your name. ☺︎ 3. Memorable Photos- I love to stop and take photos when I go on hikes, sometimes it could be just a leaf🍃. I would stop to admire it. Do you have a snapshot which conveys a moment of joy? Post it here! If not share a GIF which makes you happy, [look for the wand🪄when you reply to add on a GIF]. To Get Us Started, Here is My Gratitude List:  Im super grateful for the rainy days [https://www.7cups.com/forum/content/FunContent_2266/PetiteSourisSelfcareGuideRainyDaySheningians_333453/]we have been having in my neck of the woods. I got the opportunity to spend countless hours watching the hummingbirds [https://www.7cups.com/forum/content/ContentDevelopmentandMarketingProgramCDM_2192/BirdwatchingHummingbirdsandMentalHealth_333225/]in my backyard fight over feeders.  ☻ Shout-out to you‼️ Yes, you‼️  You have been reading my posts and participating. Your kindness didn't go unnoticed. I planned this entire post with you in mind. Thank you so much for supporting me❣️ ☻ I am thankful for moments I get to spend in nature: this tree looks like it's practicing yoga. You can't see from this view, but it has "two legs". I like to imagine it is in 🐍cobra🐍 pose.  ❤︎ Now it's your turn! Shine a Light on Your Joyful Moments! What is making you grateful today?  Im ready, with my cup🍵 of  ginger🫚 and pineapple tea🍍, to read all your posts!  @coolvibes @clarisse29 @delightfulunicorn29 @positivelyluna333 @lolaa9 @daydreammemories @hollytail @fifaadict123 @meenakshi29 @fifaadict123 @liveloveforgive @heather225 @soulfullybutterfly @train1 ------------------------- This post is brought to you by the Content Development & Marketing Program. ...See more Hey everyone! I have another question for you: What is your favourite part of cups? For me, forums are definitely my favourite part! Cups forums allow you to take part in interesting activities, Academy programs, fun games and ice-breakers. Forums are also a good way of staying connected to each other.  So what's your favourite part? Are you a forum-fan like I am? Do you prefer group chats or 1-1 chats with listeners?  ------------------------- This post is brought to you by the Content Development & Marketing Program. PetiteSouris' Self-care Guide: Rainy Day Sheningians
by PetiteSouris

August 12th
...See more In my city, summers bring evening thunderstorms. I've been enjoy the rainy days, but sometimes I wonder what to do? Perhaps when there is a downpour in your village, town or city you ponder this question too. Let's explore Souris' list of things to do when it is rainy day, and then you'll get a chance to share yours with me too. ☂🌧️☔︎🌧️☂️🌧️☔︎🌧️☂ 1. Get moving  It is not safe to go hiking when there are thunderstorms. I have been working out to videos on YouTube and on my Fitbit app too. I have been enjoying walking workout videos. A great way to get my steps in during those rainy days.  ☔︎ 2. Sleep Zzzzz... I find the sounds of thunderstorms to be soothing, and enjoy falling asleep to the sound of rain falling incessantly.  ☔︎ 3. Read a Book  Currently I am reading a book on my kindle to help me improve my Spanish, but I placed a hold at my library to read as the weather calls for more rain this weekend too.  ☔︎ 4. Practice Gratitude  I enjoy watching the rain, while keeping my windows open. I appreciate the rain cooling down the hot summer days. I pull out my gratitude journal, and I answer some of the prompts.  ☔︎ 5. Login to Cups Member or Listener Account  There is no better way to spend time on a rainy day other than making this post, on the Content and Development forum, for someone like you.  ☂️ Now it is your turn. Comment below and tell me how you spend a rainy day.  @liveloveforgive @clarisse29 @hollytail @coolvibes @postivelyluna333  @lolaa9 @delightfulunicorn38 @fifaadict123  @VicL @meenakshi29 ------------------------- This post is brought to you by the Content Development & Marketing Program. ✍︎✎The Joy of Trying Something New For the First Time✐✍︎

August 1st
...See more This past week, I spontaneously decided to try something new. I thought to myself, "Souris, what do you have to lose❓ This will be such an adventure‼️"So I decided to learn a new writing system for the first time in my life. It is known as Brahmi, an ancient writing system from India. Many modern writing systems in India, Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and Tibet are developed from Brahmi. I am both elated and excited to learn this writing system. Currently, a plethora of positive feelings are flooding my psyche. There are so many benefits to trying new things, including the feeling of happiness. Let's check out some more reasons to try something new:  1. Trying something new may bring happiness into your life.  2. We keep ourselves healthy when we try something new.  3. When we try something new we increase our emotional resilience.  4. By navigating new challenges, we may boost our self- confidence.  ✎♡✐ There are many more reasons to try new things. Check them out here.
