New to the CDM Program? Introduce Yourself
Hi everyone,
Welcome to the 7 Cups Academy Content Development and Marketing (CDM) Program - congratulations for joining us and thank you for striving towards leadership and professional excellence.
Writing, content creation, creativity, and presentation, as well as marketing, are important skills that we can learn as well as utilize in several areas of our lives.
I look forward to seeing everyone take away new information, skills, ideas, as well as experience after completing this program. Here's to creating more great content!
Please feel welcome to introduce yourself in this thread, as well as meet and greet your fellow students!
@SoulfullyAButterfly Hi all, I'm Finley. Next month will mark my 4th year as a listener. Writing isn't a big interest of mine but I look forward to honing my skills and gain some marketing knowledge. I think with the topic of focus being about mental health - one of my passions, I will be more motivated to learn Good luck to all of you and a big thanks to those who made this course possible!
@FinleyTews Hi Finley, nice to meet you - I'm glad you've been part of the community for that long. One thing that I like about the community is how there's always more to discover and grow with and I am glad you are interested in being part of this course. I agree that the focus being mental health makes it very interesting!
Hi all,
I'm actually relatively new here on 7Cups - just over a month joining as a member. I'm so excited to start learning this course together with you, especially since I love creative writing and advertising!
I live in GMT+8 so please understand if I can't reply to a discussion immediately, particularly considering that (as far as I understand) everything here is managed at a USA's timezone.
BTW I'm not sure if this suggestion is relevant or not, but since I'm already here I'd also like to suggest that we students are tagged whenever a new lesson is up; perhaps this should be easier for everyone. Thanks in advance!
@11820Read Hi Read, welcome to the community as well as this course!
I understand about the time zone - I personally am based in GMT+5 myself but yes, the site mainly uses EST. To clarify though, the weekly coursework will be posted all together and emailed to you on the weekend before the week starts, so that way you can go through the weekly work at your own convenience.
As for tags, we could do that but we have new students prospectively joining us bi-weekly for now and I believe the emails for weekly work for each batch of students could be the best way to remind about coursework. However, we can try sending out an alert within 7 Cups too once the technical arrangements have been made Thank you for your suggestion too!
@SoulfullyAButterfly
Thank you for the warm greetings! Ah yes, I forgot about the bi-weekly new students batch *facepalms*.
I'm sorry if I ask too much; do you think we can use "EST (GMT- ...)" for clarity here on 7Cups? I think I'm not the only person who keeps forgetting EST is GMT minus how many hours (yes, may sound embarassing, but hey I'm being honest about it!). Thank you in advance! :-)
@11820Read no worries! I just looked it up for you: EST is GMT-5 in winter and GMT-4 in the summer (currently -5)
I think you'll like this resource: 7 Cups Date and Time - it is a handy time conversion tool I hear.

Hi there! My name is Alexandra, but you can call me Kath. Thank you for the warm welcome! <3
I'm a 20 years old marketing student, who loves creativity, art, music and fixing broken souls.
Also I'm very happy to be part of this program. :)
Hello all,
I'm Lindsey. I'll be celebrating my first year as a member next month. I feel honored to have been accepted into the first group to go through the CDM Course. I look forward to all that awaits us over the next 8 weeks. Cheers.

Hello everyone, I'm Tay. I've been here on 7 cups for almost 2 months now. The time I have been on 7 cups has been wonderful, so many supportive people. I applied for this course so that I can further develop my writing skills and create content for 7 cups. I look forward to meeting some of you and seeing my progress as I continue this course!
Hi, everyone,
My name is Wendin. I have been a listener for over a year. Last year about the same time I became a certified listener and graduated from 7 Cups' Internship programme. I am so excited that after a year I have got a chance to join another community programme to learn with/from my fellow listeners. Happy learning!
@SoulfullyAButterfly
I joined 7cups this week. I am working on my life's passion project and could use some feedback and guidance. I am hopeful that this group may be the help that I have asked the universe for. I won't go into details, just that I am tasked with helping to change the world's paradigm regarding Love and Sex. Writing to my 'target' audience is my first goal. I would love to converse with a knowledgable person on this and other matters.I'm hoping this is the right group to start with.
I tried to post this to my notes and folder, but it would not save. Can you advise me?
Everyday I am grateful that my Source provides everything I need in life. I am grateful that ALL my needs are met. When I ask for help, it always provides the assistance I need. I am deeply grateful that Source is guiding me in this way, to help with the global awakening, which is occurring.
