@SoulfullyAButterfly tw) when I first came to cups my confidence did not exsist, and my conversation skills were severely lacking. But there was in this one guy in the support room, kinda took me under his wing. He would always talk to me, try to teach me things, tell me stories. Because of this guy, I learned how to socialise, I gained confidence and found my voice.❤❤ Now I try to support others through kind words and encourage ment. I try to make others feel welcome and heard, cause I know how hard it can be. And I know how one person can make a difference. The ripple effect😁❤
I really enjoyed reading this, and the suggestions for acts of kindness 🩷 I noticed that when being kind, whether it's reciprocated or not, I feel proud of myself and at peace. Choosing to be, and remain kind, has helped my overall well being as it connects to my self talk. The kindness I show others is what I give to myself in return through my positive self talk
I once almost committed s-cide. However, I found an old foreigner in my neighborhood who offered me companionship, and he even gave me an old comic in Italian. It was old-days Disney one, which that kindness literally saved my life

Ans: I'll split my ripple effect into two one which I do in reality one in 7cups.
Reality:
What i generally do is I pick a person in the lift who face is like spades of sorrow and i would tell them "you looking so pretty in this dress".
I did the same today to a lady who had a cry face and after tat each time we met like whole crossing each other's place, lift, stairs , canteen , she smiled even before i can smile. Finally i noticed her smiling at me even when i dint look at her (I saw her in my phn camera).
I liked that someone smiling eventhough they know I'm not looking at them.

I appreciated a peer sometime and they was so happy about it saying that they never had in real life. I understood how much an appreciation means to them. Hence I started appreciating My fellow peers... It's nice to c happiness in others faces.

I recall when an old friend came and saw me during a difficult time, when i was very depressed. Their surprise visit and support was really touching and gave me some faith back into people again. I still remember it, even though it happened years ago. Reminded me that genuine people exist in the world.
When I was a vet nurse, one of my side roles as a nurse was giving emotional support sessions to clients who had recently had their pets put to sleep. It always made me feel useful and like what I was doing had purpose, as grief is a sensitive subject for me. I always went home feeling like i'd made an positive impact on someones life.
