Daily Reflections April 2024: Nurturing Inner Strengths (Prompts Masterpost)
Thank you to everyone who has joined our latest chat dedicated for Daily Reflections!
Our April monthly theme will be "Nurturing Inner Strengths" - visit this post to stay up to date on daily prompts and weekly themes related to this month's theme!
Week 1: Embracing Self-Compassion
Day 1 - Begin the week by reflecting on a moment when you showed kindness to yourself. How did it feel, and what did you learn from this experience?
Day 2 - Identify one self-critical thought you often have. Challenge this thought by writing down three compassionate responses to counter it.
Day 3 - Reflect on a time when you struggled with self-compassion. What barriers or obstacles did you face in offering yourself kindness and understanding? Explore ways you can overcome these barriers in the future.
Day 4 - Think about someone you care about deeply. Imagine they are struggling with the same challenge you face. What words of kindness and support would you offer to them? Now, turn these words of kindness inward and offer them to yourself.
Day 5 (Weekend Exploration): Gather images, quotes, and affirmations that can lead to feelings of self-compassion and well-being. This can be a great addition to your self-care toolbox. Feel welcome to share what you end up gathering, and/or how your prioritizing self-compassion has made you feel.

Today eye showed kindness to myself. Relighting my flame to teach yoga and to dig deeper into my practice. Giving myself a moment to bask in my mission on why eye wanted to begin in the first place. That type of kind hearted love I needed to pour into myself today highly!!! ❤️🩷 Namaste yall 🙌🏾☀️ Happy April
@SoulfullyAButterfly I showed kindness to myself today by taking time out from my day to give myself time to breathe. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed and keep pushing until I shut down. But this morning I stopped for an hour to just breathe and tell myself that I'm doing the best I can.
Today I confirmed finally to myself that things are going to be ok and anytime a problem arises I'm not left to face it alone. It's ok to be receptive to the help and comfort others are trying to give and not feel vulnerable, or too exposed.
Last week was tough I lost my job.this coming weeks are going to be better and beautiful.im going on a job interview on the 26 and I hope it goes well

What is a strength that you admire about yourself? Can being more mindful about it help you use this strength more often? Share how that might help you.
I admire my persistence. If I have to figure out a problem at work I will be relentless at trying to figure out how to solve it. I don't give myself enough credit for the good things I do. When I start having intrusive thoughts I need to remind myself that I can overcome them.
I need to remind myself that I'm a good person!
