Unrealistic Expectations

I haven't been here in a long time. I wish I could say that things at my job have become better but that wouldn't be true.

Apparently now we get "graded" on our monthly tasks by the supervisors (six of them and nine normal people) and I got two red marks against me. One was because I got a birth date wrong (had 2000 when it should have been 2002) and one was because a report had expired although at the time I did the task, the report was valid. Did the task on 10/4 or 5, the report expired on 10/23.

I don't know if they're keeping a log and then taking it to HR (they have made threats before) but I figured out my error rate. It's 0.03%. That's not bad. I mean, I'm not a supercomputer even though I am expected to be doing numerous things at the same time.

And, if anyone recalls my past posts, I can't say anything because then I'm argumentative. I really want to leave but I can't at the moment. I can't believe I've only been there three years (feels like ten).

There's no one to go to. The manager appears to have given the supervisors free reign because she's hardly in the office and there is a lot of favoritism and the supervisors are like a niche (go out for coffee together, always talking amongst themselves --usually not about work, etc ).

I guess what I'm asking for is suggestions on how to beat deal with this. This is the worst workplace I have been in. We're it not that I was in the middle of pursuing a degree (brought on by this job), I would have left.

It sounds like you're really stuck in a tough situation, and I can feel how frustrating and draining this job has become for you. You’re doing your best and still being held to impossible standards, and it's clear that you're being unfairly treated in terms of expectations and support. The lack of transparency, favoritism, and the feeling of being constantly monitored must be incredibly demoralizing.

@CheeryMango well right now it's not as bad as when I posted this. I'm actually caught up enough and waiting on responses from some departments. Absolutely no one from my team in the office. Expected it next week with the holiday but not this week.

But yes, there is by far more stress and frustration from so many factors than not. At least now, once I get something for lunch, I can focus on getting research for my Business Ethics class. I just can't stay at this job for an extended period of time.
