I want to do cosmetology
Im 17 and want to be a cosmetologist. But I’m looking at a lot of my friends and what they want to be and I feel like I'm behind. I haven’t got a car or license and most of them have theirs already. I feel like I’ll be a failure for my family and my friends.

I understand that you're feeling overwhelmed comparing yourself to your friends and their progress. its tough when it seems like everyone else is moving forward faster, but everyone's path is different and thats okay
Pursuing a career in cosmetology is a meaningful goal and its great that you have a passion for it. its normal to have worries about falling behind, but each person moves at their own pace. What matters most is finding what makkes you happy and working towards it at a pace that feels right for you
if you're feeling unsure, know that its okay to focus on your own journey and not compare it to others. You're taking steps towards your future and thats something to be proud of
I feel you man it's been almost half a decade since I worked on my goal and many people have already surpassed me but that's no reason to give up on your goal if your into anime and stuff like that I recommend bakuman because it has a lot of reality embedded in it
