i found out today that my ex-psychiatrist was the one offering free consulation in the famous mental health institution in my country, and i backed out of having an appointment when i found out about my ex-psych because in the previous years that i consulted her, he didn't give much attention to me snd i somehow feel neglected by her,

Its so important for your therapist or any mental health worker to earn your trust and support you. I happen to be very very lucky to have three who are on my team and they get back to me pretty quick and often check in on me. I have a therapist that I totally adore and she is the best! You deserve the best so strive for the support you need because it makes a real difference. You're on the right website for support now :-)
