🌈 There are many famous people with Autism Spectrum Disorder who have used their strengths and abilities to achieve success, fame, or to accomplish amazing things.

🌈 Here are some famous figures with Autism - are you familiar with their work?

♾️ Satoshi Tajiri: Creator of “Pokémon” and video game designer.

• As a child, Satoshi loved collecting bugs. He says that this love of bug collecting is what inspired him to create Pokemon.
• Many Autistic people enjoy collecting, sorting, and categorizing different things. So Satoshi, as an autistic individual himself, gave the world a gift that only he could create: a whole new thing to collect.

♾️ Elon Musk - Entrepreneur

• Elon Musk credits Autism for contributing to his success. He believes his intense and specialized interest in science and technology was amplified by his hyper-focused mind, a common trait among Autistic people, helping him reach the level of success he has today.

♾️ Temple Grandin – Author, Speaker, Scientist

• Temple Grandin is a scientist, academic, and animal behaviorist. She is also a prominent author and speaker on both Autism and animal behavior and was a past member of the board of directors of the Autism Society of America.

♾️ Greta Thunberg: Swedish environmental activist.

♾️ Daryl Hannah: American actress

• Best known for her roles in Steel Magnolias, Wall Street, The Little Rascals, Kill Bill, and more.

♾️ Alexis Wineman: Autism advocate, Miss America pageant contestant, and “Miss Montana.”

♾️ Dan Aykroyd: Canadian actor, comedian, writer, producer, and musician

• best known being part of The Blues Brothers and Ghostbusters.

♾️ Albert Einstein - Scientist & Mathematician

• There’s no way to know for sure, but many people believe that Albert Einstein would qualify as having Autism Spectrum Disorder today. As a child, Einstein experienced severe speech delay and echolalia.
