Talking without making jokes
I always feel like you need to make a joke in a group. People are never serious when there's more than 2 people. If you don't say something lighthearted you'll come across as the joy killer.
Maybe it's happening more with the newer generations. But it happens at any age really. It's stops you from speaking your mind. The more sociable the person you are speaking to, the more interesting you have to be aswell.
@Ynwa2014 I do agree and hear what you are saying and you have a point, I find it hard to not make jokes in social situations in order to keep interactions light hearted and fun and also engaging, I feel it is important to create a balance so to be fun and make light of a conversation where it is appropriate but not to be oer the top or to portray a fake sense of self.
