I dealt with my social anxiety by learning social skills.
This may sound silly but I learned how to make small talk from a book. I learned how to speak in a clear voice from a YT video.
And now that Im armed with knowledge, I dont feel so scared anymore. I know what small talk is supposed to be like. How a good speaking voice sounds like. I may not be able to perform them perfectly, but at least I KNOW. Knowledge is power people, seriously!
So thats my favorite coping technique. Learn the shit out of what makes me scared!
