anxiety makes me feel like everything is wrong
lately, stress and anxiety have been getting to me. I cant sleep properly, i can hardly eat. I cry and have to beg my mother over the phone for help. Its exhausting. One of the main causes being my own partner, in a relationship where im supposed to feel loved and supported. Its caused more tears and anxiety than anything else in my life. I feel so weighed down and horrible for even wanting to end the relationship but, i feel like i might have to for my sake. i am so tired of feeling like everything is just wrong and will never go back to normal. I know part of what made me feel worse was my dad’s death and my grief but ive been working so hard on that. Lately i feel like im taking steps backwards though.
Anxiety can be overwhelming and cast a shadow over even good things. I'm sorry you're going through this.
Have you spoken with your partner about how you feel? Is there anything they can do to help? Why do you want to end the relationship? Is it because of your anxiety or is there something your partner is doing?
I have spoken with my partner many times about what they do that upsets me, often times i find myself apologizing and feeling as though i was doing something wrong. It feels like sometimes they are receptive, while other times they want to point out what im doing wrong instead. for me, anxiety can also make it harder to communicate despite i often try my hardest.

HAve you discussed your anxiety with your partner? Trying to explain what it's like (perhaps in a moment when you're feeling well mentally) could be very helpful for them. I know for me, my partner explaining some of his mental health struggles and why he behaves a certain way has been very helpful.
I had anxiety too...unfortunately.
I recommend you to all the things that helped me. Thats all:
- Going to church, talking to a priest, praying.
- Going to a psychiatrist and drinking therapy
- Walking, every day more and more, even one step more than the previous day.
- Facing the fear.
- Reading books.
- Whenever an ugly thought comes, do your best not to think about it.
- Do not read black chronicles and similar terrible things that lead to unrest.
I know it's hard, but YOU, WE, CAN.
Believe me, not everything is as we think and fear, when you face it, you will see that it was not terrible.
I, too, am once again facing a change that makes me feel anxious, but I won't let it get the better of me.
thank you, i really hope i can recover. Im trying to face my fears head on and am trying so hard to look forward until i can see a doctor and possibly get medication but it is so difficult sometimes when it feels like you’re being crushed by the weight of your own fears. I trust you though, and i will give it my all to push through this.
You got this! Yesterday worries are a distant memory, tomorrow thoughts gives us another chance to move forward.

- For now, here are some tips that I collated, which may be of use for you.
1. Use stress management and relaxation techniques. Visualization techniques, meditation and yoga, are examples of relaxation techniques that can ease anxiety.
2. Make sleep a priority. Do what you can to make sure you're getting enough sleep to feel rested. A minimum of 7 hours of rest is needed daily, to ensure a well-functioned body system.
