My father likes to bring up apocolypse and how humans will be replicated. I tried telling him it was upsetting and asked him to stop. he walked off on me. what do i do?

@brunettebabe676 Have you talked to him since he walked off? Maybe it would be good to talk to him when you are both happy and calm and can have a good conversation about it. Is that an option?

@brunettebabe676 every parent has its flaws, but the one thing i learned is to get along, sometimes u have to accept to agree even if youre opinion is different, just for the sake of having to repeat the same arguments over and over. youre parents only appreciate what they see in you as similar to them. its better to defuse a situation by either making a light joke or diverting the conversation to another subject rather than starting to push buttons..

@brunettebabe676 You have every right to feel the way you feel, would i want someone else talking to me about the apocolypse and making me feel nervous, by letting him know how you feel, he will hopefully be abit more sensitive. If he became frustrated at you for not wanting to listen to him, how could you show him that you don't want him to take it personally?
