Tapering antidepressants

I haven't posted in a while. Does anyone here have any experience tapering and/weaning off antidepressants? I found a site called surviving antidepressants.com but there is surprisingly little information about it online. It's really the only medication doctors have but they are just so hard to go on and off of and I don't think many doctors realize that. Any tips, thoughts, ideas where to find support welcome and thank you :)

I'm pretty sure that for any prescription medication, you'll want to talk to your doctor. They'll be able to prescribe doses for you to slowly step down off the medication properly, and can monitor you if there are any side effects.

Thank you :)) I do have a psychiatrist. He tried to get me to taper a bit fast and I'm reading online from real people's stories that it should be done very slow. I wanted to know if others had recources or experiences going through this. Antidepressants are so hard to go off that many can't, but that doesn't mean they should stay on them, bc eventually the body and nerves recover. Thank you again :)))
