Stressed and anxious

aquaWest3410 July 5th, 2021

I'm a medical student. I basically need to study all the time. At first i thought i had everything together, but this year has been really difficult with the pandemic happening it was all messed up and we ended up working all the time exam after exam without any breaks. I first experienced anxiety in February. I thought it was just usual stress but i soon ended up in a hospital bed shaking, feeling like my heart was about to stop when in fact it was a panic attack. Now i still have to work but it feels like torture

It must be hard to experience nonstop exams and working without breaking. Sorry that you experience such a scary and uncomfortable panic attack. Pandemic turns our life upside-down. Thanks to medical workers like you that take care of society. Please take care of yourself too. Self-care is an important part of life that can help you recharge. I know it seems have no time to do that. But even a short like few mins break may help. Wish you the best!
