Anyone else?

One thing I know a lot of people struggle with is not being able to stop thinking about the past. Whether it be a moment that brought guilt, embarrassment, or pain, brains seem to like to remind us that it happened. However when I think of these moments, I often get sudden uncontrollable movements or I make odd noises. One time I was reminded of a time I felt trapped and my fist thumped my chest without me telling it to. Other times I'll be out with other people and I'll squeak or cry out because I thought of something I did. Is this normal? How can I control these things?

@Idontknow247 It's normal for us, human beings, to feel hurt at the slightest opinion of what others think and we often get reminded of the past, then getting sad. I may not know what you went through, but one way i way did to stop remembering the past was to keep myself very busy on a daily basis. You could also spend sometime with self-care, doing the things you like and spend sometimes watching movies? Always remember that you're precious and you're loved. <3
