1. Lack of control over your thoughts, strengthens your anxiety. As negative thoughts get stronger, your anxiety gets stronger too. You need to learn to control your thoughts.

2. Feelings and emotions fuel and strengthen anxiety. You need to develop some self discipline, and learn to have control over your feelings. You also need to develop some degree of emotional detachment.

3. When you go to bed at night, and first thing when you wake up in the morning, think about the good things that are happening to you. There are always some good things happening, even if small and insignificant.

4. Start the day with several minutes of positive affirmations. Tell yourself how would like your day to be. Use positive, cheering and motivating words.

5. Be busy and do something, since activity keeps your mind off your anxiety.

On 7 Cups of Tea there is a thing called the Growth Path where it gives you a few ways in how to make yourself feel better.

To relieve anxiety, I would recommend using breathing exercises that lead to you becoming more relaxed and less tense. Thinking about the breathing exercise also distracts your mind for a bit which is beneficial too. There are a lot of breathing exercises available online, however if you need any help, let me know.

Another way could be using meditation. A lot of people with anxiety use meditation to calm down and connect with their innerself.

Exercise and a healthy diet may not seem like a big deal however it's important that your body gets everything it needs to function properly. If your diet is lacking in specific vitamins then it may affect your moods without you actually realising. Exercise releases the "happy hormone" which can make you feel better too.

Getting enough sleep is key to overcoming any psychological problems that an individual may experience as it let's the body rest, encouraging logical thinking. The repairing of different cells ij your body is important for smooth working.

I'm always looking to help people therefore if you need anything, let me know :)
