I thought it would be good for everyone to share their distraction techniques whenever they begin to feel anxious or a panic attack approaching. Distracting yourself is a great way to shift your mind towards something else to deter the feelings. So feel free to post what you all find helpful!

This will be especially helpful for new members who may need tips for managing their anxiety.

Ebooks, as far as the eye can see 😊 And if I'm low on cash, I can always borrow an ebook from the public library. Reading takes some of the edge off.

I take my meds and then try to distract myself with video games or doing something creative like coloring. Coloring is a great way to relax and taking a walk or joke will help burn off the nervous energy!
