BODY SCAN FOR ANXIETY

1AlwaysThere1 December 16th, 2017

Hey everyone. I started meditation last year and find this particular method called 'body scan' really helpful in calming anxiety.

So, here's how you can do it:

1. Sit comfortably, close your eyes.

2. The main thing is to focus your breath to parts of the body, you can go from head to toe, toe to head, or just randomly start from any body part.

3. As you go through it, you'll find some sensations running through that specific area, just breath in slowly and breath out while noticing the sensation.

4. After the whole body scan part by part, try to direct a single breath to the whole body.

It is explained in a better and detailed way here:

Take care everyone. <3
