What to do while morning anxiety?
Hey guys my first thread is a question if it’s allowed. I’ve been having severe morning anxiety two weeks in a row I guess. I don’t even understand if it’s anxiety or something. Like I wake up and I’m good for 5 sec and then I feel heat. My brain feels like it’s gonna explode. And I read that I should get up and move. However I can’t. I just want to hide under the blanket. But daily responsibilities come to my mind and it makes it harder to get the energy. It triggers more. I don’t know what to do. I feel desperate. I try mindfulness but it doesn’t seem like it works. (Works for 10 minutes) after hours I feel better but it’s too long:( is there anyone who experienced this like that? How did you cope with it?
@kweenia Along with making sure you get about eight hours of sleep every night, it can be beneficial to try some specific relaxation techniques, like:
- Sleep meditation.
- Guided imagery exercises.
- Yoga and light exercise.
- Breathwork.
