Irritable
Hey folks. I don’t really know how to interact with the community since anxiety and depression tends to make me irritable and I know we’re supposed to be positive and supportive. I just get frustrated really easy these days because I can’t focus on anything long enough to achieve my goals and I feel like I’m getting stymied at every turn whenever I go to get support. If anyone has advice I would appreciate it.
@MetaphysicNovice Hi, I understand how you feel and how it makes you irritable. Yes, it is hard especially in the beginning when dealing with anxiety and depression. What I can suggest, find things that make you happy a little bit each day. Taking small steps will add up to a bigger better result. I went for months trying to "do things myself" but there is nothing wrong with asking for help and support. And yes, it can get very frustrating really easy esp when you want something to just "go away". But you've come to the right place for some help and there is nothing wrong with that.
