How much worse can it get
I've made a whole slew of mistakes at work recently. I'm feeling overwhelmed and completely burned out. I worked flat out today and then when it came to working the juice cages everything seemed to fall apart.
A bottle of coke burst. Twice. And a colleague cleaned it up. Which I felt awful about. Then later on I started working another cage of juice and the colleague tidied that one as well. I had to do food waste disposals as well. Also shutters on fresh foods dept and work some off a bread cage that the manager had left out.
I saw the manager on the phone as I was tidying up.
I'm feeling epically self conscious at the moment. As well as struggling with everything I've got going on inside my head at the moment. I feel like I'm not making any progress at work and I'm making things harder for other folk as well. And I feel that this is being picked up by management.
I want things to improve but I feel I'm not helping myself by doing stuff like this. I've got depression and I feel that makes things worse. And that's why I always feel I'm being kept an eye on by management. And I make so many mistakes that it consumes what I'm thinking and talking about all the time.

Mistakes and off days happen to everyone...
when we are self conscience about it somehow that seems to make our brains not on full alert and although i have NOT taken a poll or an actual count to see if it TRULY increases during these events...
What does increase is our remorse ......and i have found when i dwell on it or apologize often.... it puts my errors on display when without my constant dwelling on them may have in fact may have not been noticed as much until i said something..... this leads to being worried and self conscience about what if .... management etc knows and i worry about being let go or something....
being honest and talking with people before a slew of mistakes happen i found most understand and have offered solutions to bring down the stress.
@gregariousVillage5097 sorry, for what you're going through but things will get better. you just need some "me time" try to relax and do what you love doing or take a 1, 2 hour break it will be okay. Everything will be okay!
Thanks. I'll bear that in mind.
@gregariousVillage5097 how have you being lately ?

Mistake happens, while we learn from them, we shouldn't dwell on it.
It's okay to have 1... or 2... or 3... or a few off days, it happens and no one is perfect.
It's okay to apologize & acknowledge our mistakes. It may also be helpful to talk to people before anything happens, by letting other know that you're feeling overwhelmed can help you and most people will understand and try to offer solutions to help decrease the stress.
Things will work out, just take a deep breath and take it one at a time.
