Whenever anxiety hits, itβs an alarm. Thoughts canβt fix it, but soothing your body will, such as soothing your chest or shoulders, soothing your knee, even soothing your nose.. You can do this by calming your body down and envision as you are calming your younger self. Like envision a child version of yourself that still feels those feelings and calm him or her down telling them that they will be okay.
